Manufactured Alloy Xtras was started in 1995.
They started by making polished ladder racks for the automotive industry.
Over the years they have diversified into building other products mainly Alloy Trays.
They build all their products right here in Australia and also source their materials from Oz manufacturers as well, and that means you're getting genuine Australian Aluminium products put together by Australians.
CUSTOM ALLOY TRAYS
Manufactured to the highest quality for fit and finish, their custom-built trays feature a variety of options and styles to suit a huge range of vehicles. Available in Black or Zinc. MAX Alloy uses only the best quality materials - even down to stainless steel nuts and bolts.
Both the Series 1 and 2 get double-skinned gates with tie-off points on the internal of the gates. They come with 4 eye bolts and the floor is rated at 2 to 2 ½ tonne and the headboard can either be 63mm or 73mm diameter. The Series 1 tray has a mill finish and the Series 2 Fleet tray has black external inserts, black powder-coated hinges, pins & angles which keep the tray looking good all year round.
These trays are perfect for tradies and you can have them as a plain installation or get us to customise them specifically to fit what you need to do. We can always supply you with spare parts & any modifications you may need 5 days a week.
ALUMINIUM RACKS
MAX Alloy manufactures racks for Tradies or off-road adventurers in any variation of rack that you can think of. The standard Contoured aluminium racks are suitable for carrying ladders or long equipment.

The dome end racks are perfect for carrying wide loads; they are removable pins which give you more clearance & access to low car-parks.
The teardrop racks are ideal for tradies, as they can be made to whatever width you need. This gives you more flexibility when carrying different materials.
The new Multifit Loadbar System is suitable for all tub backs. They come with removable pegs or teardrop ends and they are a removable rear rack system. Ultra useful for those who don’t always carry loads, the Multifit Loadbar can be kept in the back of tub when not in use & are an easy fit for last-minute loads.
SPORTSBARS
The range of MAX Alloy Sports bars adds style and class to your vehicle. They are available in 50mm, 63mm, 73mm and 100mm (for large pickup and trucks). Optional ladder pegs or ears for tie-offs are also available.
